Gift Of Communion Sliver From Greyfriars Kirk To The Robin Chapel

On Sunday 2 February 2020 the Reverend Ken Luscombe, Associate Minister at Greyfriars Kirk, presented to Professor Herbert Kerrigan QC, Chair of the Thistle Trust a gift of Communion Sliver from the reserves held by Greyfriars for use in the Robin Chapel. This comprised a Pewter Flagon dated 1842, two silver Communion Plates dated 1893 and two Communion Cups dated 1898. These were rededicated by the Very Reverend Dr Sheilagh Kesting, sometime Ecumenical Secretary of the Church of Scotland and Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland 2007-2008 who celebrate Holy Communion using the gifted items..
