The new Chaplain will be the Reverend Doctor Iain C. Barclay, MBE, TD, M.A., B.D., M.Th.,M. Phil., Ph.D. currently Minister of Appin and Lismore since 2015 within the Presbytery of Argyll. Prior to that he was Minister in the Scots Kirk in Sydney (having family in Australia) from 2012 having previously been Minister of St. Fittick’s Parish Chucrh, Aberdeen since 1999. He has had a long connection as a Chaplain in the Army, both as a Regular and as a Reservist and has published articles relating to his military experiences.

Dr Barclay will formally join us on 1st August 2020 when his tenure in Argyll ends. He has however offered to assist us with supply on Sunday Services from the Sunday after Easter when he will be on study leave until 31st July which the Trustees are currently considering.
